Our Vision is our response to the Great Commission.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" Matthew 28:19-20
We exist to help people connect with God, grow through relationship and make a difference!
Connect : Our first priority is to see people connect with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ & connect with His people. Our Sunday services are a safe and welcoming place where we focus on community. Our Sunday services are for people of all stages of their journey including those who have questions, new to faith, or have been a follower of Jesus Christ for a long time.
Grow : God created us for relationship with both himself and others. God wants us to grow and we grow best through relationships. Our Growth Groups are safe places for people to gather in smaller settings where people can grow together through relationship with Jesus and with each other.
Make a Difference : We were all created by God on purpose for a purpose. We have all been given different gifts and talents to use on this earth to make a difference in the lives of others. We provide opportunities for people through our Everyday Church Teams to use their gifts and talents and begin to make a difference within the local church and community.
Connect with God
Everything we do, every decision we make, every action we take is centred around helping others connect with God through Jesus Christ.
“His desire being that no one shall perish but all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:9
Excellence
Everything we do, we do to the best of our God given ability to glorify God. Nothing is too big or too small. We are people of integrity.
“Whoever can be trusted with very little, can also be trusted with much”Luke 16:10
Courageous Faith
We live a life of faith. We are bold, big thinking, courageous believers. If God calls us to it, we do it. “Everything is possible for one who believes” Mark 9:23
Empowering Others
We don’t just recruit volunteers, we raise and empower people to be released into their God-given destiny. “To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” Ephesians 4:12
Unity
We run together in one accord and the same spirit. We are more powerful together. Together we can change the world.
“...so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me”John 17:23
Personal Growth
We take responsibility for our own growth - spiritually, emotionally and physically. We are committed to growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ. “...being transformed into his image with ever increasing glory which comes from the Lord which is the Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Generosity
We know that everything we have is from God. We are generous with our time, abilities and resources. We serve God and others. “A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed” Proverbs 11:25
There is one God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.
In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruits and gifts available in the Church.
The Bible as the living word of God – infallible, authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine.
In the existence of an evil spiritual being – the devil.
In the spiritually-lost condition of all people and the essential need for ‘salvation’ by faith in Jesus Christ.
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers subsequent to the new birth, typically with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
In the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.
In the church being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part of a local church, fulfilling the Great Commission.
